As many of you know, even after a delicious dinner, guides can't "switch off" our curiosity, and some of us are incorrigible nocturnal wildlife junkies! Each night, a crew or two would go out in search of seldom-seen critters. Chris Benesh managed to see all four species of skunk in a night (including the rare Western Spotted and tricky Hooded), and he also led the charge to the Mexican border in New Mexico, where the group found the endangered White-sided Jackrabbit, a lifer mammal for all.
