Here two playful Dall's Porpoises swim alongside our boat in wondefully clear water. Dall's Porpoises are the fastest of the Pacific dolphins—they seemingly can come out of nowhere and make the boat look as if it was standing still. Humpback Whales also summer here and can be common, while Gray Whales sometimes are seen. Sea Otters are common in the sheltered water, including right in port.
