Rainforest birding can feel like work at times, when the birds don’t just pop out into perfect light on a branch. Indeed, much of the time, birding here requires patience, equilibrium, and stamina. But persevere they did, and even Jesse saw a long-overdue new bird: Rufous-vented Ground-Cuckoo!
