Okay, next stop Foz do Iguazu (Iguazu Falls). The local Guarani Indian name for this is 'big water'—somewhat of an understatement! The falls meander along more than 2.5 kilometers of terrain, and words don't do justice to the overall scene. That's just a tiny part of the view from the Brazilian side above. The place is simply fantastic and, staying for two nights each on the Argentine and Brazilian sides, we take our time to enjoy it AND do some exciting birding for the local specialties.
